Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè (/ˈrakè/ /ˈlisi/ [mobile; portable] [dawn; birth]) is a temperate Town located in the Mèrevaqêyê Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè was founded by Sophie Glkdonhêv Glkeg̈m, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè receives an average of 227 cm/y (89 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 2022 m (6633 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1276, by Sophie Glkdonhêv Glkeg̈m. The establishment of Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè's construction back out of the project. Sophie Glkdonhêv Glkeg̈m pushed on reguardles, and Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a semi-circular restrictive cobblestone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The minimaly adiquite have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Civic Infrastructure

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Two or more groups of citizens within Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè hate each other. Their neighbors or the local law have kept things from too-overt violence, but members of the groups will constantly interfere with their rivals and cause whatever misery they can get away with. This hate may spring from recent events, or it may be an inherited spite from old wrongs.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè.

The Kamadan near Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Dëcê-lisi Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves long periods of drunkenness to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 3 via chanting.
